Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens during an emergency exam?

Dental emergencies vary case by case, but we ensure all patients receive the care they need. The dental issues that require immediate attention are given their due by our trained and courteous team.

We start by listening and learning. During our initial exam, you’ll tell us about your symptoms and medical history. Your dentist will conduct a visual examination. If necessary, take X-rays, and perform a cold or pain tolerance test.

Once we’ve identified the problem, we’ll offer immediate options for pain relief and treatment. This may include medications, temporary repairs, tooth extractions, or scheduling a follow-up procedure. The goal during an emergency appointment is to alleviate pain, prevent further damage, and restore oral health.
